Hussain Sajwani is an established businessman. Born in Dubai, his desire to venture into the business world started at a tender age. He is a graduate of the University of Washington, where he got his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Industrial Engineering. He has risen up the ladder to become one of the richest men in the world.

Career History

Hussain Sajwani started his career path in GASCO where he was the Contract Manager. He was a man with great ambition because shortly after, he started his own catering business, 1982. He built several hotels in the 90s because of the number of people coming to Emirates.

Hussain Sajwani through his real estate investment has given Dubai a new name and image. It has become one of the best destinations to go to. In 2013, Sajwani partnered with the now president of U.S., Mr. Donald Trump to develop two golf courses.

In 2017, Trump International Golf course Dubai opened. The second golf course is set to open 2018. Trump has nothing but fondness for Hussain. He has praised Hussain Sajwani, stating what a good person he is. Trump has also good things to say about the Hussain Sajwani family.

About DAMAC Properties

DAMAC Properties is situated in Dubai. It deals with commercial properties, residential and leisure properties. They have worked with companies such as LVMH, The Trump Organization, Inc, Drake & Scull International LLC. In 2011, DAMAC Properties introduced its hospitality branch which goes by DAMAC Maison. This will be a great boost for the company as it will hold its position as one of the biggest Hotel Apartment developers worldwide.


The Damac owner, Hussain Sajwani made a contribution to the government of Dubai as part of the continued support the company has for the government. The contribution was AED two million, which would clothe a million needy children.
